I just now called my father but he couldn't recognize me because getting old(he is 70years old) and his hearing is bad especially on the phone.
He said "Who is Atsuko? she is not japan..."
I said " I am your daughter , now I am in the US... that's why I am using international call !"....
He said " ....But your voice unlike atsuko's voice..." etc...
But he couldn't convince...from first to last in our conversation.
Then I sent an email to my sister that I really worry about him.I doubt whether does he get dementia something ? But she responced quickly she said my mail makes her laugh with her tears...because I wrote the email about my father and mine funny conversation and I did worry too much about him . She said he just getting old still he is fine except his hearing. Then her email also makes me laugh.
It was good medicine for us...

Week Ten
How would you prioritize the reintroduction of the American Bison?
I have never seen Bison before.I hope we will be able to save Bison .
I think they can survive themselves if we step back from them.
“New pill promises to reduce breast cancer risk”?
It is not so common taking a contraceptive pill in Japan. Because we still don't want to have side-effect .
I have heard before that who had experience childbirth who can reduce breast cancer risk.It mean that inexperience person has more high parcentage of breast cancer risk than someone had experience. I think that natulal age cycle is more healty.

Week Nine
*About the “eight-point Deep Ecology Platform”
I think we can change quickly only surface. We always have to pay attention seeing what is the main cause of problem.
*Why “Ecosystems are both strong and fragile”?
I think if Ecosystem cycle compleatly works it will be strong but if one thing lack of the cycle it will get unbalanced. I think sometimes easy to happen that kind of unbalanced that is fragile.
*How would you assess the “end goals” of Social Ecology?
It is difficult to say "end goals" of Social Ecology because someone try to reduce the garbege then somewhere a restaurant waste food . It seems like endless...
