I just now called my father but he couldn't recognize me because getting old(he is 70years old) and his hearing is bad especially on the phone.

He said "Who is Atsuko? she is not japan..."

I said " I am your daughter , now I am in the US... that's why I am using international call !"....

He said " ....But your voice unlike atsuko's voice..." etc...

But he couldn't convince...from first to last in our conversation.

Then I sent an email to my sister that I really worry about him.I doubt whether does he get dementia something ? But she responced quickly she said my mail makes her laugh with her tears...because I wrote the email about my father and mine funny conversation and I did worry too much about him . She said he just getting old still he is fine except his hearing. Then her email also makes me laugh.

It was good medicine for us...
